Jr-Mid Level Software Developer
Junior or Mid-level Software Developer will be responsible to write or perform maintenance on application programs and will receive on-the job training. Primary development technologies include Python, Django, and JavaScript while utilizing some of the latest and coolest development techniques. Candidates should be comfortable working as both an individual contributor or as part of a larger development team. Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Deliver quality code with great attention to detail
Review, analyze, design, program, modify and implement software applications and products under the direct supervision of a Developer, Sr. Developer or Technical Lead.
Quickly become familiar with the technologies, tools, applications and needs of the client and proactively look for deficiencies and areas of improvement.
Converts project specifications and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language.
Prepare and debug simple programs.
Assist in preparing program and operations documentation.
Design report and file layouts based on specifications by Technical Lead and then write programming code based on those specifications.
Make changes to the program as indicated by results of the testing.
Change priorities (quickly) as dictated by projects, systems or client needs
Candidates will build strong working relationships with peers and other technology teams, maintain a professional demeanor, and help set the tone for the great company culture.
BS or MS in CS or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Demonstrated success writing quality code using Python (or other language if willing to learn Python)
Experience with relational databases preferred
Flexible with job and project duties. Step up when needed.
Strong working knowledge of complex software design principles.
Proficiency with source control, defect tracking, debugging etc.
